Send Us Your Creative Artwork Today
If you have traditional art (acrylic, oil, charcoal, ink, pastel, colored pencil, etc), take some quality photos of your artwork and then upload the photos through our online submission form. If you have photos or computer graphics, just upload them through the same form. We accept gif, png, jpg, bitmap and other common graphic file types.
Preferably, keep the file size under 2 MB per picture/graphic. You can upload three files each time you submit the submission form or you can place all your files into a folder, zip the folder (on Windows, right click the folder, then click Send To, then choose Compressed [Zipped] Folder). The total that can be sent through each submission of the online form is 10 MB. If your zipped folder is larger than 10 MB, contact us, and we'll email you the link to our YouSendIt drop box which will accept larger file sizes (up to 2 GB total).
We highly recommend that you include (1) a title for your artwork (or else we'll put our creative whirly gig hats on and come up with a title ourselves) and (2) a very brief description for your artwork (ie a sentence in length). Longer descriptions are also accepted, of course, though there may not be room to place a long description immediately under its relevant artwork thumbnail; we would just place the long description elsewhere on the same page.
Once we receive your artwork, we'll set up a portfolio page if you don't already have one, then shrink your photo typically down to 500-650 pixels width (unless your photo has an excessive height; in that case, we would have to shrink your photo some more). This version of your artwork will then be lightboxed on your portfolio page. We'll then make a 195 x 128 pixel selection from that picture to thumnail on your artwork page. When users click on the thumnail, they'll be able to view the full artwork.
