My Ups & Downs
sometimes i'm up
sometimes i'm down
sometimes my world
spins all around
the black clouds come
and then the sun
why does my life
mess with me this way
i sometimes wish
only sunny days there'd be
i sometimes wish
my life was one big smile
but God knows that
for me to grow
He'll give the cloudy days
a spin around
He'll bring the troubling days
but with them strength
He'll see me through them both
so I'll be more
more full of His dear grace
then I'll be useful
Lord make me usable
I want to grow
