Stand by Me

Stand by me, O Lord,
And show me what is true.
As life carries forward,
Make my image more like you.

Whisper in my ear,
What you want me to be.
Your word will I hear,
And forever live in Thee.

Don’t let Satan through my door,
And keep me pure within.
Only You whom I adore,
Though troubled when I sin.

You are my all in all,
And together we shall succeed.
For you I will stand tall.
Lord, you’re the one I need.
