The Joy of Salvation

When I was a kid, I was afraid of death,
Talking about it made me upset.
I used to be sad and so preoccupied,
Asking myself, “Would I go to Heaven if I died?”

One day, they shared something good to me,
The truth that will surely set me free.
Jesus died to pay the penalty of my sins,
Yes, He did that, by all means.
After three days He rose again,
Offering eternal life, a gift from Heaven.
Let’s not worry, for this gift is free,
Just accept Him as your Savior and King.
Now, repent all your unrighteousness,
Don’t be frightened, He’s a God of forgiveness.
Also, to Him you must transfer your trust,
If you really want eternal life, do this, it’s a must!

Now, I believe that if death strikes me today,
I’m not scared, ‘coz to Heaven is my way.
To show my gratitude, I give my life to my Father above,
I’ll do everything for Him who fills me with sacrificial love.

You can’t find true happiness here, ‘coz temporary the world is,
I’m so enlightened; for sure you don’t want to miss this.
