I love writing songs and poetry and I also like playing soccer. I've been a Christian for approximately 4 years.I love reading, hanging with friends, playing with my dog, dancing, starry nights and eating ice cream.

This is my poem:

As I stood peeping outside the door
Not knowing what to ask You for
Confused, not knowing what to do
It always helps to talk to you

Still I hesitated, yet unsure
Should I be formal and call You sir?
Should I tell You how I really feel
Bring to the light what is truly real

I gathered my strength and silenced my fears
Wondering what I'd whisper in Your listening ears
I turned the door knob, to seek what I sought
And then came another humbling thought:

What about all the aweful things I'd done?
What about all the battles lost, not won?
What about all the words I used wrongly?
What about the people I'd hurt too strongly?

I felt a hidden force, not my own
All along You had known
You led me into Your room
I knelt at Your feet, cloaked in doom

You lifted up my downturned head
Hushed my mutterings about going back to bed
"I want you to stay here, don't you go
Aren't there things you want me to know?"

"Don't be afraid to talk to Me
I'll open your eyes so you may see
Don't ever hesitate to sing a song
Even if everything's going wrong."

"I always love hearing from you
Don't just assume I have better things to do
Don't be so sure I don't know what it's like
Because I know that too -
I created you."

You lifted my chin and smiled into my eyes
I could see that you only spoke truth, not lies
You sat me down, then turned around
And asked laughingly,

"Now that all of that's put aside, shoved away
What is it that you wanted to say?"
