Perfection - It's what everyone strives for. Each and every individual of this world does everything in their power to reach the level of life we call perfection, even if they don't know it. But we try in vain.
Everyone knows that our hunger for it cannot be satisfied. If it could than we would not be human, we would be gods, and it is not possible for us to be on the same level as God. Even if it were, is that what we really want?
To have a perfect family living a perfect life in a perfect world. There would be no wars, no poverty and no suffering. There would at long last be world peace.
Sure, that would be nice, but it's the imperfection that makes life worth living. From all the little things like shaking the soda machine at work, to the big things like an earthquake in New York. It's these things, these glitches, that make up a perfect world.
Of course, we should continue trying to eliminate them, but without a large amount of these glitches spread throughout our life span, things could be too perfect. Perfection would dissolve all trace of individuality. Planet Earth would become an enormous ant colony, with humans as the ants. Everyone would think alike. No progress of any kind would be made due to the fact that all possible progress had previously been thought of and the ideas executed. Life would become pointless, and that seems in no way perfect to me.
You have to understand that a percentage of imperfection is in perfection. So, really, perfection doesn't exist. It has no meaning.
So, don't dream about how your life could be better, but instead realize how perfect your life is now.
I just randomly wrote this late one night.
