My Friend and Hero

Whenever dejection overtakes me, she cheers me up. Every time I come across a problem in life, she helps me see it through. Also, she shows appreciation for our friendship. These are just three reasons why my friend Grace is my hero. Although Grace is a year younger than me, many of her traits are admirable. Therefore, Grace’s comforting, helping, and thankful personality makes her my hero.

Grace always cheers me up, assists me with my problems, and often tells me how she appreciates our friendship and the small favors I do for her. Many times I explain to Grace about how I am stressed because I have too much homework. Every time I tell her this, she talks about it with me, which makes me feel relieved and cheerful. Also, she encourages me by letting me know she believes I will finish my homework and accomplish everything I need to complete. Secondly, Grace always gives me advice when I need it. Sometimes I ask her whom I should invite to my parties, and other times I question about what color I should paint my bedroom wall. Whether I inquire about my outfit or my homework, Grace always seems to have an answer. No matter what I know I can count on her for guidance. Lastly, Grace is constantly thanking me. For instance, a couple days ago she thanked me because I waited for her outside of her classroom until the class ended. She also reminds me that she appreciates me as a friend. Thus Grace supports me, gives me advice, and is always grateful.

As a result, I look up to Grace because of her reassuring, caring, and grateful characteristics. Besides these features Grace is also funny, smart, outgoing, and friendly. At any time I know Grace is willing to uplift and help me. Her kindness always shines out to me, and her thankfulness constantly shows. Whenever I need inspiration, I know I can look to Grace.
